Plummer is my grandfather and is still living. He is searching for
crewmates in the 353rd Squadron of the 301 H bomb group. He
was stationed in Foggia, Italy from early 1944 to late 1945. He was
a ball turret gunner who has some harrowing details about the war.
His pilot was Sorenson, co-pilot was Palesse, Trumbo was the
bombadier. Rest of crew: Caleb, Mac, Patton, Plummer and
Stoneburner. They lost the navigator. I'm withholding his name. I'd
appreciate help in locating information about any of his buddies
and would love to share his stories with you.
