Sgt. Robert E Ballard

I am looking for information about my father, Sgt. Robert E Ballard (deceased, March 1984)of the 419th Bomber Squadron. He began with the 301st at its inception at Geiger Field, WA, and served until March 1945. I also have several photos, and would like to verify where they were taken. My mother is hoping someone who knew Dad, or served with the group during those years can share memories as Dad, like so many service men, did not talk much about his experiences. We do not even know the name of the pilot(s) of the plane. Any help would be greatly aprreciated. Thank you. B.J. McCracken 166 Riverview C Great Falls MT 59404 USA 406-761-0230 mtmoose@hotmail.com
