Sgt. George Marich

My father was Sgt. George Marich, service # 35874650. From what I've been able to find, he was assigned to the 301BG, 353BS, and was shot down Feb 15, 1945 in B-17 42-97683 on a mission over Ruhland GE by flak! He was taken prisoner until the end of the war. Unfortunately, he passed away in the late 60s. I too am an Air Force veteran having retired in 1992, and am trying to find any additional information about his unit, crew-mates, mission, time in captivity, or anything. If you can help, please call or e-mail. Sincerely, Chris Williams USAF, CMSgt, Ret Chris Williams 8682 Waterford Bend St Las Vegas NV 89123 USA 702-492-0465 williamsmcj@cox.net
