George Goeltz
George F. Goeltz, 72, of Suquamish, died Saturday at his home.
He was born June 15, 1922, in Aurora, Ill., where he attended elementary and high school and attended Aurora College.
He was a B-17 bomber pilot during World War II, stationed in Foggia, Italy. After the war he became co-owner and president of Hansen Mattress Company in Aurora, retiring in 1981.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a son, Thomas; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Gale of Glen Ellyn, Ill.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Suquamish United Church of Christ.
