Raymond Gene Barrett
My father in law, Raymond Gene Barrett served in the 301st BG in WW2. He was at Foggia Italy with the group and served as a Waist Gunner and Togglier during the last few months of the war. When I talked to him, he didn't remember the squadron he was in. Is there an easy way to find out? I had asked him what plane he served on and he said his crew was often split up and moved around. He thought he served on about 10 missions before the war ended. He did mention that he thought his Chief Pilot was named George Grace. Can you help us figure out which Squadron he was in? Regards.
